Powai Run 2020
A marathon encapsulates the power of one’s dreams and the awareness of one’s ability to realize those dreams perfectly. It's an intensely personal experience. Hiranandani Powai Run organized by Rotary Club of Mumbai Lakers is the 2nd largest run in the city. For the past 3 years, Hafele has constantly worked toward promoting healthy living.
More than 40 enthusiastic employees took up the challenge to participate in the 10km and 21km categories. Needless to say, each one of them successfully completed their run and are now even more charged to beat their best time next year. We look forward to participating in greater numbers towards one common goal of achieving and encouraging a healthy lifestyle.
Häfele India conducted a CSR Activity at a Tribal School in association with Suadha NGO.
The CSR Team at Häfele India distributed goodies and school kits like uniforms, bags and shoes to around 250 tribal school students at Dahivali Vibhagh Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Shahapur, Thane. These students walk around 5-8 kms through the forest area to reach the school.
The students performed a lovely dance to welcome and greet the Team. The time spent interacting with these students was truly worthwhile. Looking forward to support many such noble initiatives in future!
Hiranandhani Powai Run 2018
The consciousness of a healthy lifestyle is the latest trend that is being followed by all nowadays. This has seen a rise in the number of runs happening across the city all through the year. One of which is the Hiranandhani Powai Run – 2nd largest run in the city in the year. This Run, now is in its eighth edition, is organized by Rotary Club of Mumbai Lakers, and all proceeds (net of expenses) go towards charity. The run see by far more than 13,000 runners on an average. Where Hafele is constantly trying various ways to bring about awareness in the organization about a healthy lifestyle, Hiranandhani Powai Run feels like a perfect parallel fit in the cause of the Rotary Club of Mumbai Lakers. Hafele had 40 of its employees participating in the run for the cause and showed their enthusiasm towards making a change for a Healthy Lifestyle. This is the 2nd year of Häfele’s association and Hafele is looking forward to many more!
Häfele India conducted CSR Activity at The Akshaya Patra Foundation, Thane
We are happy to be associated with The Akshaya Patra Foundation which facilitates the education of underprivileged children through nutritious mid-day meals. Hafele Employees visited the Akshaya Patra Kitchen and School in Thane on 17th February 2018 where the Akshaya Patra representative took the employees through the Kitchen Tour. At the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) school, A drawing competition was conducted for the school kids along with an enthralling magic show and fun games! The kids had loads of Fun and we all had a great time!
Kudos to the Akshaya Patra for this noble cause in providing hot and nutritious meal along with education to the children!
