KEY PURPOSE OF THE JOB (POSITION SUMMARY)

To ensure smooth functioning of PAN India Warehouses Material Handling Equipment (MHE), Cleaning Machines, Vendor and Manpower Management,, Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for day to day operations with effective communication

KEY RESULT AREAS

  1. To ensure all equipment are in working condition for day to day operation.
  2. To ensure All Electrical, Battery Operated equipment, DG Set AMC renewals on time
  3. To ensure on time closure of spares requirement of Equipments for smooth functioning.
  4. To ensure timely bill submission to Accounts and Finance Team and further on time vendor payments
  5. To ensure 100%  POD received from the transporters against bills
  6. To ensure Debit Note process as per the Transporter delay, ODA clause.
  7. To ensure hygiene, safety to be maintained as per standards at all time.
  8. To ensure all Hafele Bus/Distribution vehicles are well maintained & operational at all time.
  9. To ensure required manpower to be present at all time for smooth day to day operation of warehouse
  10. To arrange safety training, fire extinguishers maintained, etc.

KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Below listed are the tasks and responsibilities specific to your position.


 

STRATEGIC

  1. To ensure all equipment are in working condition for day to day operation.
  2. To ensure All Electrical, Battery Operated equipment, DG Set AMC renewals on time
  3. To ensure on time closure of spares requirement of Equipments for smooth functioning.
  4. To ensure timely bill submission to Accounts and Finance Team and further on time vendor payments

OPERATIONAL

  1. To ensure all equipment are in working condition at all time.
  2. To ensure all AMC are renewed on time
  3. To ensure all departments have the required manpower for smooth operation
  4. To ensure Warehouse Operational Vendors & Logistics Vendors bills timely submission, checked and forwarded to accounts for further payment
  5. To ensure all vendors submit bills payment as per credit period on time
  6. To follow-up with Accounts for on time payment of vendors
  7. To prioritize operational requirements and ensure spares are arranged on immediate basis as and when required.
  8. To encourage staff to switch off the equipment whenever not in use, in order to reduce the energy bill
  9. To ensure every IN/OUT person to be checked as per the standards of Security
  10. To ensure Staff Buses are running and reporting on time
  11. To ensure backup arrangement of Bus, in case a Staff Bus breaks down at any point of time.
  12. To coordinate with accounts for on time advance payments against the requirement/PO
  13. To ensure CCTVs are smoothly functioning at all warehouses.
  14. To ensure on time arrangement of Staff Welfare whenever required.
  15. To ensure all On Roll, Off Roll staff coming in are following the dress code
  16. To ensure all Safety, Hygiene and Hafele Standard Policies are maintained in Warehouse.
  17. To appoint new vendors after taking the quotation and negotiations.
  18. To coordinate with Regional Warehouse Team for requirements related to MHE, Spares etc.

OPERATIONAL Cont..

DEVELOPMENTAL

  1. To arrange periodic fire and safety training for all warehouse staff
  2. To develop cost saving methods and ensure all team members are well aware about same.

OPERATING NETWORK

INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

ROLE REQUIREMENT

 1  ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION  Graduate
 2  PREFERRED QUALIFICATION  
 3  CERTIFICATIONS ( IF ANY)  
 4  EXPERIENCE  6 years
 5  AGE  25 to 35 years
