JOB DESCRIPTION


POSITION TITLE Assistant Manager- Legal LOCATION Mumbai 
DEPARTMENT Back Office VERTICAL Accounts & Finance

KEY PURPOSE OF THE JOB (POSITION SUMMARY)
To handle the Legal matters of the company, Compliance, Contract Management and Litigation Tool and to comply with 
Companies Act and other statutory requirements and provisions.

KEY RESULT AREAS
1 Manage all Legal matters, Compliance, Contract and Litigation Management Tool.
2 Manage all legal cases related to Customer (Bad Debts) recovery, Consumer cases 
3.Draft, vet and negotiate various Agreement such as NDA, Service Agreements, Supply and International Agreements, 
Leave and License, Lease, Dealer Finance Agreement, MOU etc. with internal and external stakeholders
4 Draft Notice, Agenda, convening Board Meeting, Members Meeting and draft Minutes of Board and Members Meetings.
5 Ensure 100% Compliance to Companies Act and any other applicable act.

1 Draft and vet the various Agreements as mentioned above and to negotiate with internal and external 
stakeholders in closing the open clauses and finalizing the Agreement.
2 Co-ordinate and arrange the meeting between internal departments and third-party service provider in 
resolving the legal and technical issues related to compliance, contract, and litigation management tool
3 Co-ordinate with external lawyers for all Legal matters related to customer (Bad Debts) recovery and 
consumer matters.
4 Represent the Company before Civil & Criminal Court as and when required.
5 Co-ordinate with external Lawyers for drafting, vetting, and finalizing the legal notices under various laws.
6 Compile and provide the documents to external Lawyer at the time of issuing the legal notice, filing the 
case, reply and evidence etc.
7 Follow up with Lawyers for getting the update on each case.
8 Prepare monthly MIS of court cases


B Company Secretary
1 Co-ordinate with external consultant for preparing Notices, drafting agenda, resolutions, minutes of Board, 
AGM/EGM and CSR meetings.
2 Co-ordinate with internal department for getting the data to file Annual returns, e-forms, XBRL, RBI annual 
return
3 Provide the necessary data to statutory auditors as and when required.
