KEY PURPOSE OF THE JOB (POSITION SUMMARY)

Manage entire process for indirect buying as per stipulated guidelines 

KEY RESULT AREAS

Ensure all purchase requisitions are processed in timely manner and goods / services are procured as per the requirements received from user department.
Manage onboarding of suppliers of relevant categories and maintain business relationships with them.
Keep track of spending as per annual budget and ensure goods / services are procured at competitive prices. 
Plan, implement and improve end to end process for indirect buying. 
Ensure data is being captured at required points for analysis.
Maintaining MIS of various measures to ensure efficiency and productivity in operations.
 

KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

STRATEGIC

Cost optimization for all procurements
Ensure all purchase requisitions are closed with in stipulated TAT
Implementation of procurement strategy and policies.
Forecast procurement needs and planning accordingly
 

OPERATIONAL

To maintain records of articles ordered, in transit and received.
Support the in-bound logistics group in all phases through data analysis
Support the purchase group in all phases through data analysis
Active management of data to support all decision regarding order placement and in bound logistics

Implementing and improving the current indirect purchase processes and system.

ROLE REQUIREMENT

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION    Bachelors
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION    MBA
CERTIFICATIONS ( IF ANY)    Supply chain certifications
EXPERIENCE    8-10 yrs
AGE    28-34
