KEY PURPOSE OF THE JOB (POSITION SUMMARY)

To maintain and analyze all purchase related data to optimize entire Purchase process

KEY RESULT AREAS

  1. To validate and finalize demand forecast through qualitative and quantitative methods to support order placement and logistics planning.
  2. To review inventory levels and highlight articles to modulate ordering pattern including planning import locations to optimize on domestic freight costs
  3. To study demand patterns, inventory levels and to issue guidelines to warehouse team to plan kitting of components to ensure constant availability of Bill of Material (BOM) articles across warehouses.
  4. To keep track of logistical data and analyzing on lead times, freight and clearance charges. Sharing data with Imports team and support to achieve optimizations.
  5. To track and analyze raw material prices and currency movement with expected impact to support decision making.
  6. To ensure data is being captured at required points for analysis.

STRATEGIC

OPERATIONAL

  1. To support the in-bound logistics group in all phases through data analysis
  2. To support the purchase group in all phases through data analysis
  3. To manage data actively to support all decisions regarding order placement and in bound logistics
  4. To analyze monthly sales trends across product groups / article level to support order placements
  5. To develop Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) models at product group level and supplier level
  6. To monitor the End to End inbound Supply Chain continuously to tap Savings Opportunities
  7. To create and maintain dashboards for Purchase and Imports
  8. To review stock levels at article level to ensure availability as per projected requirements
